Hello Amiga Modula and Oberon Freaks!!
This is a new AMOK disk. It contains a lot of PD programs. They are
almost all written for the Modula-2-Compiler M2Amiga or the Oberon-Compiler
Amiga Oberon.
AMOK ?
AMOK consists of a few Amiga Modula-2 and Oberon Freaks and fights for the
wider recognition of these programming languages. Wir are not organised in
an official club, but we are hobby programmers who wanted to create a PD
series! On most disks are demos or procedures which can be imported in
order to use in your own programs. We try to document all programs as
detailed as possible. If you still have problems with them then please ask
the author. Please send an SAE (stamped-addressed envelope). E-mail is
the easiest and most convient way for questions!
Your own programs and modules:
If you have a working program or module, you can send it to us on a disk to
one of the addresses below or upload it to amok@ftp.uni-stuttgart.de.
There is no guarantee that we include your program into our collection (we
publish only program with complete source code!!). The program should
contain a complete module header (see 'HeaderInfo') and should have all
necessary icons. The disk should contain a documentation. Since AMOK is
distributed throughout the world, the documentation should also be in
English. The default tool of all text files MUST be "
:c/MuchMore
"! From
now on a file called ".Product.info" have also to be submitted. The
specification is in "product-info.spec". See also "Poster".
VERY IMPORTANT: If you want your disk back or if you need any information
or disks, please ALWAYS send an SAE.
Information and orders:
Please be patient if the answering of your letter takes a little while! We
do this work beside school, university or job. Therefore we can only work
in the evenings, on weekends or during the holidays.
But still we produce all the time new AMOK disks.
You can get information and disks from any of the addresses below.
When ordering:
1. Supply always the number(s) of the AMOK disks you want!
2. Supply a SAE or IRC.
3. The prices for our disks are: including a 3,5" branded disk:
5,00 DM (you have to pay in advance! Checks preferred).
!!! Don't order without paying in advance !!!
4. Donation are always welcome!!
Please don't alter the contents and layout of the disk, in order to
guarantee all users the same disks with all programs and in order to
prevent 'software mutation'.
If you want to use AMOK programs in commercial software you have to get a
written agreement by the author! More information about this is written in
the documentation of the programs.
If a program is called
Freeware
then the author says you how to copy it and
keeps
all rights
with his program. If a program is
Shareware
then the
author wants
additionally
a certain fee, if you use his/her program
regularly. It would be nice, if this system would be used in the whole of
Europe.
